Getting a computer fixed used to mean unplugging everything, carrying it across town, and leaving it on a counter for a week. Or ringing a call centre that has never met you. JorTech was built to be the opposite: a real local technician who comes to you, names the fault plainly, and fixes it where it sits.
The story
Nobody should have to hand their machine over a counter for a week.
Think about what a repair normally asks of you. You crawl under the desk, unplug a whole station, and label a dozen cables, just to get the machine looked at. Or you walk the streets with your gaming rig, or an expensive laptop, and leave it on a shop counter for a week, hoping somebody rings you back. And if you call one of the big names instead, you get a call centre and a ticket queue, and never a straight answer about what is actually wrong with it.
That hassle is the reason so many faults never get fixed. The machine limps on, slower and more worrying by the month, because the repair feels like a bigger job than the fault.
So we do not ask any of it of you. JorTech sends a real local technician to your home or office, who names the fault plainly, tells you what it will cost before touching anything, and fixes it where it sits. Nothing to box up, nothing to unplug, and no risk of your kit going missing. If something genuinely needs the workbench, we collect it and bring it back to you. And it was built by someone who trained on the bench himself, as an apprentice technician at PCI Computers Leeds.

Send an enquiry and describe what is wrong. We will tell you what it sounds like, whether it is worth doing, and whether we can sort it over a remote link without anybody travelling. That conversation costs nothing.

A minimum call-out, quoted first
If it needs a visit, we agree the call-out before we travel, so you know it before you commit to anything. It comes off the price if you go ahead with the repair.

A fixed quote
Once we have seen the machine you get a clear, fixed price before any work starts. No surprises, no hourly meter running.

We fix it, or there is no repair fee
Happy with the quote? We do the work. If we cannot fix the fault we quoted for, you do not pay for the repair.

Who does the work
Real technicians, and a founder still on the tools.
Our technicians carry out most of the repairs. They are the people who turn up at your door or collect the machine, and they work to the same rules on every job: name the fault, then the fix, then the price, and touch nothing without your say-so.
Jordan founded JorTech and runs it end to end, and he still takes jobs himself. He trained on the bench before he ran anything, so he decides who works on your machine, how we quote, and what we will not charge you for. When you get in touch, you reach a real person who can answer for the work, not a call centre.
