Our promise
If we cannot fix it, you do not pay
No Fix, No Fee is not small print, it is how every job works. The diagnosis is always free, you get one fixed quote before any work starts, and if we cannot fix the fault we quoted for, there is nothing to pay for that repair. This page explains the promise in plain English, including what it does not cover.
What the promise means
Three commitments, on every job.
You never pay to find out what is wrong, you never pay a price you have not seen, and you never pay for a repair that did not work.
-
The diagnosis is always free
We find out what is actually wrong, at no charge, and tell you straight whether it is worth fixing. If it is not worth the money, we say so, and that costs you nothing too.
-
A fixed quote before any work
You get one clear, fixed price before we start, parts included. No hourly meter, no hidden extras added later, and no work done without your say-so.
-
No fix, no fee
If we cannot resolve the fault we quoted for, you do not pay for that repair. The risk of a repair not working sits with us, not with you.
How it works
Step by step, and you can stop at any point.
Tell us the fault
Call or message and describe what is wrong. We come to you across Leeds and the surrounding areas, or you can arrange to drop the machine to us.
We diagnose it, free
We find out what is actually wrong, at no charge, and tell you plainly whether it is worth fixing. If it is not, we say so, and you have lost nothing.
You see the fixed quote
One clear price for the whole job, parts and time included, before anything is opened. You decide with the real number in front of you, and you can walk away at no charge.
We do the work
If you are happy with the quote, we carry out the repair, test it, and hand the machine back working. You pay the quoted price once the work is done and you are happy.
If we cannot fix it, you pay nothing
If the fault we quoted for cannot be resolved, there is nothing to pay for that repair. That is the whole promise, and it is written into our terms, not just this page.
The honest part
What No Fix, No Fee does not cover.
A promise is only worth making if its edges are clear. These are the same exclusions set out in our terms, in plain words.
- A different or additional fault discovered later. No Fix, No Fee applies to the specific fault we quoted for. If a separate problem turns up, we diagnose it and quote it separately, and you decide again with the new number in front of you.
- A part you asked us to fit that then works as intended. If you ask us to fit a specific part and it does its job, that work is complete and payable.
- A repair you approved that succeeded. The promise covers failure, not success. When the fault is fixed, the quoted price is what you pay, and never more than it.
- Specially ordered parts if you cancel. If a part has to be ordered specially and you decide not to go ahead after we have bought it, we may ask you to cover the cost of that non-returnable part. We always tell you before ordering anything that cannot be returned.
And after the repair: we stand behind the work we carry out. If the same fault we fixed returns within a reasonable period as a result of our work, get in touch and we will put it right. That guarantee does not cover new or unrelated faults, accidental damage, liquid damage, or problems caused by other work carried out after ours. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights.
FAQ
The questions people ask about the promise.
What does No Fix, No Fee actually mean?
It means that if we cannot resolve the specific fault we quoted for, there is nothing to pay for that repair. You never carry the risk of paying for an attempt. The free diagnosis costs nothing either way, and the fixed quote you approve before any work is the only price you will ever be asked for.
Is the diagnosis really free, even if I do not go ahead?
Yes. The diagnosis is always free, whether you go ahead or not. If the machine is not worth fixing, we tell you that at no charge too, and where it helps we will give you honest advice on a replacement or an upgrade instead of selling you a repair you do not need.
What does No Fix, No Fee not cover?
Three honest exclusions, the same ones set out in our terms. It does not cover a different or additional fault discovered later, which we would diagnose and quote separately. It does not cover a part you asked us to fit that then works as intended. And it does not cover a repair you approved that succeeded, because that is simply the job done. Separately, if a part has to be specially ordered and you cancel after we have bought it, you may be asked to cover the cost of that non-returnable part, and we always tell you before ordering anything that cannot be returned.
Is the work guaranteed after the repair?
Yes. We stand behind the repairs we carry out. If the same fault we fixed returns within a reasonable period as a result of our work, get in touch and we will put it right. That does not cover new or unrelated faults, accidental damage, liquid damage, or problems caused by other work carried out after ours, and nothing in it affects your statutory rights.
Where can I read the full wording?
In our terms and conditions, which set out the whole agreement in plain English: how the service works, the free diagnosis, the fixed quote, No Fix No Fee in detail, parts, the warranty on our work, and your right to cancel. This page is the plain summary; the terms are the full version, and if anything here seems unclear, just ask us before you go ahead.
