Field repair technician
The core of what we do: diagnosing and repairing computers and laptops at people's homes and businesses across Leeds, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire, with bench work between visits. You run the free diagnosis, give one fixed quote, and stand behind it. Field roles need a full UK driving licence.
The day
What the work actually is.
Mornings are usually the road: booked visits across Leeds and further out, a bag of tools and parts, and someone's kitchen table as your bench. You run the free diagnosis, name the fault and the fixed price, and do the work there when the job allows it. Afternoons swing back to the bench for the machines that came in with you.
No two days carry the same faults, which is either the best or the worst thing about the job depending on the technician. We hire the ones who think it is the best.
What you bring
You.
Broad, real competence across Windows laptops and desktops: hardware swaps, storage and memory, operating system faults, and data-safe working habits. A full UK driving licence. And the temperament the doorstep demands: patient with people who are stressed about a machine that holds their life, and honest enough to say when a repair is not worth their money.

Pay is stated plainly in your first conversation with us, before any interviews. The hiring itself is five steps with nothing hidden: a person reads every application and you get an answer either way, the practical is real faults on a real bench, and if it is a yes, everything we agreed goes in writing before you commit to anything. Professional development is continual and treated as part of the job.
