The day
What the work actually is.
Builds and rebuilds: gaming machines specced honestly for what the buyer actually plays, upgrades that chase a real bottleneck rather than a shopping list, thermals and stability work. Then the Linux side: installs, dual boots, small home servers, and rescuing setups whose owners were told to just reinstall.
You will also, regularly, be the person who says the graphics card is fine, the power supply is the problem, and saves someone a great deal of money. That sentence is the brand.
What you bring
You.
Genuine fluency at the command line and in the parts market. You can defend a component choice with reasons, diagnose instability methodically instead of swapping parts by superstition, and translate all of it for a customer who just wants the machine to work.
In one line: Opinionated about parts and airflow, fluent at the command line, and able to explain a choice without the jargon.
